Title-winning Rangers not desperate for new players Mohsni

Rangers defender Bilel Mohsni believes the club are capable of stepping up the Scottish Championship and succeeding without the purchase of new players in the offseason.

Gers clinched the League One title with a 3-0 victory over Airdrie on Wednesday night, allowing them to take a 26-point lead over the remainder of the competition with eight matches remaining.

In the wake of that title triumph, Mohsni is so confident with the current squad that he feels there need not be any signings this coming summer.

"I don't know if the manager (Ally McCoist) will add some players, we will see," said Mohsni.

"Of course, the Championship will be tougher than this league, they have some good players.

"I like this team. This team is fantastic. Look at the job we did.

"If he adds some players, if there are players who can help us it will be good, if he doesn't add players it will be good too.

"With the same team we can play in the Scottish Premier League.

"But I am not the manager."
