Atletico Madrid striker Adrian delighted to get on scoresheet in Spain win

Atletico Madrid striker Adrian was delighted to be on the scoresheet in Spain's 2-0 win over Serbia.

Adrian is hoping that his impression will be recognised and he is desperate to go to his first senior international tournament after guiding the Spanish Under-21s to European Championship glory last summer.

"I am very happy to have debuted with a goal. The manager gives the list tomorrow and I am very excited. I would be fantastic to go to the Euros.

"I am happy with my performance this year with Atletico and for this work with my club I have entered the squad.

"Now though the competition is of a very high level and it is good that the manager has a lot to choose from. It will be difficult for him to do so."
