Liverpool are ready to battle Arsenal for Lille wing wizard Eden Hazard.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool are ready to battle Arsenal for Hazard's signature after registering their interest in the Belgian winger with Lille.

Hazard, who has also been courted by Real Madrid, wants to quit Lille and Liverpool have asked the French league leaders to keep them informed of an asking price.

Reds chiefs Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish have made regular checks on Hazard in the last month.
