Harry Kewell - Melbourne Victory (2011-2012) and Melbourne Heart (2013-2014)

Considered Australia's best ever player, Harry Kewell returned home to Australia in 2011 to play for the Victory. While he was never able to re-capture his form that catapulted him to the top of the Premier League, the Socceroos striker still drew in the crowds. His stint was cut short after an illness in the family forced him to return to England. But Harry will return for the 2013-2014 season after signing with Victory's fierce rivals, the Heart.

I Think that Beckham believes he is above the A League but we will see when nobody else wants him because as mentioned before he is over the hill ,when he played here with galaxy he didn't do much at all .

Does Soccer Australia need to spend millions of dollars trying to entice someone who could fall into the category of, " Over the hill"? Sydney has paid $4 Mill with no result to show of to date. We should be encouraging local youth instead of spending all this money for overseas so-called talent
