Former Nakumatt FC captain Peter Nzuki ditched the financially troubled side for the 11-time league champions Tusker FC in teh Januray transfeer window. 

The midfielder has been influential for the shoppers, helping them to promotion to the top tier in the 2016 season as well as ensuring they retain their position last season.

However, experienced towering anchor man, opted against remaining in the Anthony Mwangi led side in search for a new challenge at Ruaraka. 

"The training has been going on extremely well here, and I am happy that the decision to come here is already paying dividends. Every team has its policy and tradition and it is up to me to adapt. 

"Sometimes it is good to seek new challenges, it makes a player better and I am not an exception. This is a new and different step for me, and we have to give our best in order to win the league this season."

Striker Kepha Aswani is another player who ditched Nakumatt for rivals Sofapaka FC.
