Muhoroni Youth have moved to the High Court to fight for their survival in the Kenyan Premier League.

Muhoroni Youth were relegated to the National Super League after finishing bottom of the table last season.

But the Kisumu County side has since rushed to the corridors of justice to fight for their stay in the top tier league after failing to do so on the pitch.

Muhoroni, through Maurice Otieno sued Football Kenya Federation and Kenya Premier League as first and second respondents respectively in their prayers at the Kisumu High Court.

Muhoroni is seeking the indulgence of the Court to issue a conservatory order restraining the first and second respondents from relegating the club pending the hearing and determination of the case.

Muhoroni Youth were relegated to the lower tier alongside Western Stima while Wazito and Vihiga United climbed up to the top league.
