Siphelele Ntshangase's proposed move to Kaizer Chiefs falls off

Goal has been informed that Siphelele Ntshangase will no longer be joining Kaizer Chiefs after they failed to reach an agreement with Baroka

According to a source close to the situation, Baroka pulled the plug on Ntshangase's potential move to Amakhosi, who could not meet their asking price for the player.

The source further states that Baroka even proposed a six-month loan deal for their star player, but Chiefs rejected it on the spot.

"The deal is off. It wasn't going to work. Baroka named their price, but Chiefs had a problem with the numbers. They then proposed a six-month loan deal because Ntshangase wants to play for them [Chiefs], but then again they [Chiefs] rejected it on the spot," the source told Goal.

"Now, the club has decided that they will no longer be discussing Ntshangase with Chiefs," added the source.

"As things stand, the deal is off and Ntshangase may move elsewhere if he's really interested in leaving in the club, but it cannot be Chiefs at this stage," concluded the source.

Ntshangase, one of the highly rated midfielders in the country, was quoted several times as saying he would want to play for the Glamour Boys one day.

However, Amakhosi's reluctance to pay could see the 24-year-old's dream of donning the famous gold and black jersey go up in smoke.

It is unclear at this stage whether or not there are other teams interested in Ntshangase, but reports suggest that Bloemfontein Celtic have approached Baroka with a view to sign the former Black Leopards playmaker.
