Nakumatt FC calls for two day open trial to revamp squad

Nakumatt FC are set to hold a two-day trial next week as they seek to revamp the squad ahead of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League season.

The Elephants endured a difficult 2017 season of poor performance and financial difficulties.

But the club now set to put their acts together ahead of the new season.

The trial, to be held at City Stadium between January 4-5, will be open to players above 17 years.

“Will be conducting a Two-day trial exercise to recruit new players ahead of the 2018 KPL Season campaign. We hope to get great talents that will improve our team in the 2018 KPL,” Nakumatt said in a statement.

The shoppers will be keenly interested in signing a striker after the club top scorer last season, Kepha Aswani ditch the club for Sofapaka.

Nakumatt completed the last season on 15th place, just a position up the relegation playoff zone.
