Harry Kewell in crazy clash with own team's fans
Aussie football great Harry Kewell has been involved in a fiery confrontation with his own team's supporters in England.
Kewell has led second-tier side Crawley Town to just four wins in 18 matches since he took over as manager in May, and fan frustrations came to a head on Saturday.
Crawley Town had just lost 4-0 against Wycombe Wanderers when Kewell reportedly confronted some 'abusive' fans.
According to the Crawley and Horley Observer, the fans had been voicing their disapproval with Kewell before the Socceroos legend snapped.
Kewell had to be restrained by his own players and was escorted from the pitch by security.

“Look, I’m not a shy person. I’ll confront anybody," Kewell said after the game.
“I said at the start that if you have a problem you can always come up and ask me but, you know what, just leave it, because you’re never going to win.”
Crawley Town fans then took to social media, demanding Kewell be sacked.

Three days before we signed Harry Kewell I called the owners number 2 and pleaded with them not to sign him. I told them he would relegate us. They didn't listen. A month ago I told them again. No Reponse. SACK THIS GUY NOW!

I don't like advocating managers getting the sack BUT Harry Kewell needs the boot from #Crawley

But the 39-year-old is refusing to be affected.
“We’ve all got to stick together and fight,” he told the Crawley and Horley Observer.
“Everyone understands that this is going to be tough, it’s not going to be a stroll in the park.”
“My players, myself, the staff and the fans all have to be together as one.
“I can understand that the supporters are upset at what they have seen. I’m not afraid, I’ll stand up, I’m hurt by this as well. Like I said we are a team and teams must stick together.”
