Midfielder Massimo Luongo was one of the Socceroos' best against Honduras.

Mathew Ryan: Didn't have much to do but made a strong save late in the second half and always swept things up nicely at the back - 6.5

Matthew Jurman: Solid performance that would have gone a long way to cementing his spot in this back three - 6.5

Trent Sainsbury: The usual cool, calm and classy stuff from the country's best stopper. Saved a certain goal with a perfectly-timed early tackle - 7.5

Bailey Wright: Made some strong interventions but was exposed for pace and in possession - 6

Josh Risdon: Defensively sound, provided spark in attack too with a second-half cutback that should have been slammed home - 6.5

Mile Jedinak: Like he never left - heroic, unbeatable in the air, broke up plenty of Honduran attacks. But clearly ran out of petrol in the dying stages and occasionally coughed up the ball - 7

Massimo Luongo: One of his best matches for the national team, showed a terrific work rate as the second midfield holder - 7.5

Jackson Irvine: Emptied his tank before coming off for Tom Rogic in the 74th minute. All-action - 6.5

Aaron Mooy: A decent enough performance from the team's creative fulcrum but set-piece delivery was a touch sloppy - 6.5

Aziz Behich: Surely the argument is over. Australia's best wide left option and proved it going both ways - 7.5

Tomi Juric: Blew the two best chances of the game when he could have made all the difference. Has to do better - 5.5

Substitutes:

Tom Rogic: Looked lively but struggled to adapt to the bobbly pitch - 6
