GOtv Shield: Opiyo to replace Kigonya in Sofapaka goal

George Opiyo is expected to return between the sticks for Sofapaka when they take on Kariobangi Sharks in the round of 16 of GOtv Shield.

Opiyo last took part in a competitive fixture for Batoto ba Mungu in the GOtv round of 32 clash against Western Stima. Ugandan coach Sam Ssimbwa will be without first choice Mathias Kigonya, who is in Spain with the KPL-AllStars for two friendly matches.

Sofapaka tested their strength ahead of Sunday’s clash with a 3-1 win in a friendly against Wangige FC.
