Chelsea's Kalas wants Fulham return instead of Hull, Jamal Blackman set for Bolton

Tomas Kalas wants to return to Fulham on loan as they look close to beating Hull City to land the Czech Republic defender, while Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman is also set to join Bolton Wanderers, Goal understands.

Both players have also earned contract extensions from Chelsea and will return to the Football League to continue their development.

Kalas has travelled with Chelsea on pre-season but he is still expecting to leave, and favours the continuity of working under Slavisa Jokanovic, who got the London club into the play-offs last season.

The 24-year-old's contract had enterred its last year but he has agreed an extension to facilitate the loan move, as Chelsea don't permit temporary moves for players in the final years of their deals.

Blackman was fantastic last season at League Two side Wycombe Wanderers, and that has seen him jump up to newly promoted Bolton in the Championship. Ex-Manchester United keeper Ben Amos is set to depart the Macron Stadium and Blackman will compete with Ben Alnwick for a starting spot.
