Nyangweso: Ulinzi Stars ready for league resumption

Ulinzi Stars coach Benjamin Nyangweso is confident that they will reap maximum points against Sony Sugar.

The soldiers will begin second half of 2017 season on Sunday with a home tie against the sugar millers at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Nyangweso says the team is ready for the resumption of the league after a three-week break adding that the boys are focused on continuing with the hunt for the league title.

“Everyone is focused and ready. We played two friendly matches last weekend, won one and drew one. The first one against Ushuru at Camp Toyoyo was very good. I think we played quite well. However, the second friendly against Wazito wasn’t very good but at least we have picked lessons on what we need to improve,” Nyangweso told the club's official website.

He added; “We have worked abit more on the finishing which has been an area which has failed us a number of times. Ahead of the Sony match, I have faith we will be better. It is a tough game but we are prepared for it.”
