Leopards v Gor Mahia’s Mashemeji derby venue changed

AFC Leopards will meet Gor Mahia for their first match of the season at a different venue on Sunday, May 7.

Initially, Kenyan Premier League Limited had announced that the match which will have AFC Leopards as the home team be played at Nyayo Stadium but that will now not be the case.

According to a statement obtained by Goal from the league managers, the match has been moved to Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium with the unavailability of Nyayo and Kasarani stadia being the obvious reason.

The adjustment has come with a number of other changes of the league’s round nine action in kick-offs and venues. Notably, Kariobangi Sharks will now host Sony Sugar at Machakos County Stadium as Tusker play against Kakamega Homeboyz at Ruaraka grounds.
