Shot at late equaliser punished by clever keeper

A Bolivian team's desperate shot at a late equaliser stunningly backfired when the opposition goalkeeper scored a long-range wonder goal.

Trailing 2-1 in the dying stages of their Bolivian top flight clash with Bolivar, San Jose saw their opportunity to draw level after being awarded a late free kick.

'EMBARRASSING': Alexis Sanchez derided for appaling dive

Goalkeeper Carlos Franco burst into the opposite goal box to act as an another attacker, but things went horribly wrong when San Jose turned over possession.

Bolivar keeper Matias Dituro jumped to catch the ill-placed free kick, and noticing his opposite number way out of his box, decided to launch an audacious shot from out of his own hands.

The ball sailed over the last line of San Jose's defence, before bouncing several times into the unguarded net.

Now that's one spectacular way to put the icing on a 3-1 win.
