Golden Arrows coach Clinton Larsen is pleased with the depth of the squad this season and he's confident that they maintain their place in the top eight.

The KZN side is currently placed seventh on the log, and they need a few more wins in their remaining eight league games to achieve their goal.

“In defence, attack and midfield (the squad depth) is provided by the strength from our (MultiChoice) Diski players in our team and I’m happy to say that they have come through with flying colours whenever they are called upon,” Larsen told Goal.

“They have done the job for us. So, in terms of depth we have a (selection) headache because we’re happy with what we get from our Diski boys,” Larsen said.

They just advanced to the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup following their 1-0 win over Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.

They have since been drawn against Platinum Stars in a match which will take place in the next two weeks.
