Liverpool cement their position as Premier League's comeback kings

Liverpool completed yet another fine fightback on Saturday to confirm their status as the Premier League's undisputed comeback kings.

Trailing 1-0 at the Britannia Stadium, Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino struck within two minutes of each other to seal a 2-1 win over Stoke City.

Coutinho the PL's most prolific Brazilian

Remarkably, Jurgen Klopp's men have clawed back 18 points from losing positions this season, more than any other team in the English top flight.

To put that in perspective, if not for those gutsy displays Liverpool would currently languish in ninth place, far off Champions League qualification.

In turning round the game, Coutinho and Firmino also raised eyebrows.

The two stars left just 126 seconds between the equaliser and the winner, a double blow which ensured the Reds would leave with all three points once again after falling behind.
