Wanyama cautious ahead of DRC match

Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama has expressed caution as they make final touches in their preparations for DR Congo match set for Sunday at Machakos Stadium.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was not in the squad that played Uganda on Thursday at the same venue but head coach Stanley Okumbi has hinted at a possibility of making changes which will see Wanyama marshal the midfield.

He (Wanyama) predicts that the match will not be easy but hopes his side will work hard to reap maximum points.

“The Sunday game (against DRC) is a tough one and hopefully we can be at our best to produce a good game and take all the points.”

Gates will open at 12:00pm, three hours before kick-off. VIP tickets trade at Sh500 while those of terraces will be sold ta Sh200 each.
