14yo too good for Real Madrid superstar

He may be a world cup winner and a Real Madrid superstar but Toni Kroos was no match for a 14-year-old kid in a football challenge.

The Germany international agreed to take on the teenage boy in a juggling contest on television, but he probably never expected such a stern test.

The objective of the challenge was to use your feet to juggle a football all the way to the top of a set of stairs, as fast as possible without the ball hitting the ground.

Both competitors had three attempts at the tricky feat, with the teenager setting a scorching best time of 19-point-9 secs on his third and final attempt.

The first time Kroos tried it he didn't manage to get a score because the ball dropped to the ground. The second time he could only manage a fraction under 33 secs.

With everything to play for and pride at stake, the German seemed intent on bettering the youngster on his last attempt.

Kroos had finally worked out an effective technique and scaled the stairs with speed and a steely determination, but still only managed 21-point-1 secs.

It was close but the sheepish look on Kroos' face as he walked back down the stairs - knowing he'd been shown up by a 14-year-old kid - said it all.
