Commentator cackles as Hull bomb two penalties in a row

Hull's FA Cup humiliation was summed up by comical passage of play late on in their defeat to Fulham.

The Premier League strugglers were sent crashing out in the fourth round of the Cup after a 4-1 humbling against the Championship outfit.

As if that wasn't chastening enough for the Tigers, striker Abel Hernandez compounded the misery by 'starring' in a late horror show from the penalty spot.

Hernandez stepped up to take a spot kick in the 86th minute but his tame effort was easily saved by Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli.

The ball spilled straight to the Uruguayan, who was given an instant chance to make amends after being fouled by Bettinelli on the follow-up.

Hernandez stepped up to the spot again, and although he made better contact with the second attempt, the Fulham keeper once again had his measure.

Perhaps the only thing more bruising to Hernandez's ego was the laughter from one of the commentators at his misfortune.
