Fans slam Giroud over ‘embarrassing’ goal celebration
Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud’s scorpion kick may have been one of the best goals of the Premier League season so far, but it hasn’t saved him from being slammed by fans.
Days after scoring his astonishing goal against Crystal Palace, the France striker celebrated his equalising goal against Bournemouth by striking the same pose as his famous kick.
MATCH REPORT: Giroud brilliance rescues a point for Arsenal
But the fact that Giroud was celebrating so flippantly about the fact Arsenal had to come from three goals down to salvage a point against Bournemouth didn’t go down well with supporters.
Never mind the fact that there was still enough stoppage time left in the match to fashion the winning goal.
After all, Arsenal is a side with strong title credentials so to celebrate dropping two points against a side they really should have beaten has led to some strong opinions from fans on social media.
There was so much wrong with Giroud's celebration tonight. *Sigh*

Arsenal should have all their points deducted because of Giroud's celebration.

Giroud did at least help Arsenal rescue a point by setting up two goals and scoring one against Bournemouth so perhaps he’s being judged a little too harshly.
