Footballer scores one of the weirdest own goals ever

Bari midfielder Matteo Fedele has scored a truly bizarre own goal in Serie B, producing a brilliant finish any striker would be proud of.

Bari were leading Spezia by a goal in the closing minutes of their game until Fedele struck - straight into the back of his own net.

Spezia sent the ball across the face of Bari's goal but none of the attackers managed to latch onto it.

Fedele, tracking back into the box, attempted to clear the ball (presumably) but only succeeded in blasting it straight past his own keeper into the top corner.
