Footballer yellow carded for ‘twerking’ goal celebration

Football players are given yellow cards for numerous offences, but Kei Kamara could very well be the first man booked for ‘twerking.’

The New England striker was booked for his unusual goal celebration in the Revolution’s 3-0 win against Montreal Impact.

Kamara completed the rout with a goal in the 71st minute but the referee clearly didn’t take kindly to his version of the popular dance move, and handed him a yellow card.

The injustice of the situation didn’t go down well for Kamara, who threw his arms up in disgust and walked away shouting inaudible obscenities in response to the referee’s decision.
