Young footballer helps opponent tie his shoe leaces

Top-flight footballers often get criticised for a lack of sportsmanship, whether it be arguing with the referee, fighting with rival players or excessive diving.

But one young player in Argentina proved that sportsmanship is very much still alive when River Plate's youth team took on Cordoba.

This little guy spotted his opponent's shoelaces had come untied, which was a bit of an issue because he hadn't learned how to tie his laces yet. The River Plate junior dropped to his knees to help him out and tie them up for him, warming hearts around the ground.

Who says sportsmanship is dead?
