Over-excited fan gets all emotional in Messi return

Lionel Messi’s return for Argentina clearly had supporters buzzing but one fan took his excitement to the next level.

After scoring the only goal of the game against Uruguay in their world cup qualifier, Messi watched on in amusement as the pitch invader sprinted his way and crash tackled into the Argentine maestro.

The force of the impact clearly startled Messi but he appeared to see the funny side as the affectionate soul began kissing his boots as he knelt down on the grass.

The emotional man then proceeded to hug the Barcelona star, before he was promptly led away by security officials.
