Barcelona youth team's adorable act of sportsmanship

Barcelona is already regarded as one of the world’s best football clubs, but its reputation has been bolstered by an incredible act of sportsmanship.

The adorable scenes came at the end of an under-12 tournament, which Barcelona had just won against a Japanese team in Tokyo.

Seeing their opponents devastated and left in tears by the defeat, the Barcelona youngsters approached each boy individually to offer their condolences.

What ensued what truly heartwarming as the Japanese tears were met with hugs and kind words of reassurance from the sympathetic Barca team.

For an under-12 team the boys showed compassion and class beyond their years, and reminded us of the things we love the most about sport.
