WATCH: The moment Leicester realise they have won the title

This is what it looks like when the unimaginable is realised, when fairytales become reality.

This is the exact moment one of sport’s great fables entered the books of lore.

And we the people, thanks to Twitter, were able to witness it after Leicester's Austrian left back gave the clip to the world.

A number of Leicester teammates were gathered at the home of top goal-scorer Jamie Vardy to watch the Tottenham-Chelsea clash.

If Spurs failed to win then 5000-1 outsiders Leicester would be crowned the most unlikely of Premier League champions.

What we don’t see in the clip is the tension that would have blanketed the room for every minute beforehand.

With Spurs up 2-0 the crowd would have been quietened, anxious, perhaps even fearful their dreams may be shattered.

But Chelsea fought back in a feisty affair to draw 2-2.

And with the final whistle the Foxes’ players went into the most well-deserved of meltdowns, one which is likely to last for days yet.

The city of Leicester will light up for weeks and this group will go down as heroes to a man among the Foxes’ faithful.

Surely, this is why we all love sport.
