South African scores astonishing 70m goal

South African Hlompho Kekana has produced an absolute wonder goal from inside his own half in a 2-2 draw with Cameroon.

With Cameroonian goalkeeper Guy Roland Ndy Assembe well off his line, the South African midfielder thumped the ball from close to the touchline.

To the horror of the 20,000 Cameroon-supporting crowd, the ball sailed over the goalkeeper and dropped into the middle of the net.
