Neuer pulls off save of the year contender

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has pulled out an early contender for save of the season with a remarkable effort against Arsenal in their Champions League encounter.

With the scores locked at 0-0, Neuer was left scrambling on his goal line as Arsenal striker Theo Walcott was left unmarked metres out.

Neuer was quick to respond with a diving save seemingly clutching at the ball from behind him.

The effort went to no avail later with Arsenal running away with a 2-0 victory.
