Kane wants to make the switch from EPL to NFL

One of the English Premier League’s biggest stars wants to make the switch to the NFL.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane is a huge NFL fan and has admitted that he dreams of playing in the NFL as a kicker.

Obviously that will not be for a long time, so breathe a sigh of relief all Spurs fans.

Kane signed an upgraded contract at the EPL club that will keep him there until 2020.

But Kane has trained with numerous NFL players in London in recent years and says he has the skill and power to succeed in the sport.

He practiced with Kansas Chiefs kicker Cairo Santos just last week and showed the kind of form he says could take him to the States.

“It is definitely something I have thought about,” Kane told The Sun.

“It depends on how my football career goes but, when I am finished, I would love to go the NFL and be a kicker. Even if I got to play just one game it is something I would like to do.

“It is a long way off yet.

“We’ve had NFL teams come to Spurs and I can kick the ball as high and as far as them, but not on a consistent basis. So I would need a bit of practice first.”

Kane is a huge NFL fan and would become the first ever English football player to play a regular-season NFL game should his dream ever come to fruition.
