Witnesses have described their disbelief that no one was seriously injured after Aston Villa defender Kortney Hause crashed his $375,000 Lamborghini into a school fence.
The Premier League star crashed through a metal fence just metres from the front gate at the Pioneer and Wisdom Academies in Birmingham.

The 26-year-old was on his way to Villa Park for his side’s clash with Manchester City when the $375,000 high-performance vehicle ran off the road.
Witnesses told local media that Hause appeared dazed and confused after the airbags were deployed.
“My daughter and hordes of children stand on the corner in front of the gates before and after school," Sabbir Ahmed, 43, told The Sun.
“It was a staggering slice of luck that no one was killed.
“The black Lamborghini lost control in wet conditions. Everyone is shaking at what could have happened.
“When I saw the wreckage I thought there must be bodies.
“At another time of day, anyone could have been killed.”

Very fortunate that both he and everyone else were safe as this could’ve been a lot worse! 🙏

Kortney Hause lucky no one was seriously injured
The accident happened around midday on Wednesday, just hours before Hause was an unused substitute in Aston Villa’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City.
It also occurred just 25 minutes before students began flooding out of three schools at the site.
"We heard this almighty bang, and everyone came rushing to see what had happened," another witness told the Daily Mail.
"We saw that this flash car had spun out of control and gone straight though the fence. It must have hit it with some force.
"We all realised it was probably a footballer when we saw it was a 2021 Lamborghini - and then we recognised it was Hause.
"He didn't look injured, but he did seem to be a bit blown away - he looked shocked."
In May, it was revealed that Hause had begged police to let him off for speeding on his way to meet Prince William at the opening of Aston Villa's new training ground.
