Footage captures Milford 'low act' on rival
Brisbane’s Anthony Milford has escaped with just a warning from the NRL despite what appeared to be a deliberate kick to the groin of a Rabbitohs opponent on Thursday night.
Footage shows the Broncos playmaker kicking the football downfield before he appears to intentionally kick Souths forward Jason Clark in private parts.
Clark was charging up on Milford to put pressure on the Brisbane man before he kicked the football but pulled up before he made contact with the five-eighth.
Milford’s follow-through on the kick took his boot close to Clark but there appeared to be a second deliberate kicking motion that collected his opponent in the groin.
Clark played on despite suffering the painful blow, with Milford issued a concerning act notice by the NRL, following a review of the incident by match officials.
The fact Milford has escaped possible suspension or even a fine over the kick has been criticised by fans on social media.
Have you seen the footage ? He does actually lash out after kicking… not a good look. Bit silly and dirty really.

Will the charge be large enough to warrant suspension? It better be that was a low act by any player

'concerning act notice' ..oooooh that sounds like a Slap on the wrist to me, he's a very naughty boy.

Is this like Cameron Smith getting a letter warning him not to do it again?

Milford was one of the standouts for Brisbane in the 24-20 win over the Rabbitohs that ruined the 250 game milestone for Souths skipper Greg Inglis.
