Matildas ace Caitlin Foord has scored for the second consecutive Women's Champions League game as Arsenal accounted for HB Koge 3-0 to all but secure their progress from the group stage.

Foord opened the scoring in the 15th minute while Lotte Wubben-Moy and Vivianne Miedema secured the result with goals in the 83rd and 88th minutes respectively.

Moments after being denied the opener, Foord made a strong start by her team count as she timed her arrival in the box to perfection to convert from close range a cross from Beth Mead.

The goal came a week after Foord headed home in the Gunners' 5-1 away win at Koge.

Australia goalkeeper Lydia Williams did her bit to keep a clean sheet for Arsenal, making a fine reaction save to deny Maddie Pokorny before the hosts wrapped up the points.

Matildas left-back Steph Catley came off the bench just after the hour mark to help energise Arsenal.

The Gunners are second in Group C, three points behind Barcelona who thumped Hoffenheim 5-0.

It appears a formality that Arsenal, on nine points and with a superior goal difference over Hoffenheim who are on three points, will advance to the knockout stage.

The sides meet on Matchday 6 but Arsenal's next Champions League outing is against European champions Barcelona on December 9.
