Fans gathered at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, England, on May 13, ahead of the Eurovision 2023 Grand Final due to take place that evening.
The event was to be hosted by Graham Norton, Hannah Waddingham, Julia Sanina and Alesha Dixon, and feature performances from previous contestants.
Contestants representing 26 countries were to compete in the final. These included: Albina & Familja Kelmendi for Albania, Brunette for Armenia, Voyager for Australia, Teya & Salena for Austria, Gustaph for Belgium, Let 3 for Croatia, Andrew Lambrou for Cyprus, Vesna for Czechia, Alika for Estonia, Käärijä for Finland, La Zarra for France, Lord of the Lost for Germany, Noa Kirel for Israel, Marco Mengoni for Italy, Monika Linkytė for Lithuania, Pasha Parfeni for Moldova, Alessandra for Norway, Blanka for Poland, Mimicat for Portugal, Luke Black for Serbia, Joker Out for Slovenia, Blanca Paloma for Spain, Loreen for Sweden, Remo Forrer for Switzerland, TVORCHI for Ukraine, and Mae Muller for the United Kingdom.
