FAM Cup team MOF FC got off to a winning start in their FA Cup campaign on Tuesday, thumping non-league club CNA FC 6-0 in their round one tie at their homeground the Inspen Stadium.

They had Fakhrullah Rosli to thank for, with the midfielder striking five times to help dispatch the amateur side.

Speaking to Goal after the match, Fakhrullah said that the five-goal haul is the biggest goal haul in a match throughout his career.

But more importantly to him, the win has provided his club with the morale boost needed for their third tier campaign, as well as for their second round tie; against Super League side Selangor.

"The win is a motivation boost for us, ahead of the FAM Cup kick-off.

"And against Selangor, we will put up a strong fight playing against them. The coach will prepare us for the game, we'll see what happens!" he remarked.
