England fan worse for wear after epic celebration fail

Mobile phone vision has captured an idiotic England fan’s hilarious celebration fail after the side’s opening World Cup win.

Captain Harry Kane’s brace, including a stoppage time header, was enough to see Gareth Southgate’s England kick off their campaign in Russia with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Tunisia.

Queue wild celebrations back home.

But one English reveller who will be regretting his post-match party antics is the bloke in the video at the top of the page who thought it would be a good idea to jump on the bonnet of a car.

The crazy scenes happened in Plymouth, where more than a thousand fans brought a street in the city to a standstill after the match.

The car was trying to push its way through the crowd of euphoric supporters when the man sprawled on top of it hopped on top and clung on for dear life.

Clearly annoyed by the uninvited intruder draped across the windscreen of the car, the driver suddenly sped up with the man resigned to going along for the ride as he gripped tight.

However, the rowdy fan’s fun and the car in question, came to an abrupt halt a hundred metres or so up the street – throwing him several metres off the bonnet and onto the hard road.

Presumably, the alcohol that was inevitably involved may have softened the blow for the over-exuberant supporter, even if he wakes up with a few extra bruises to go with the post-match hangover.
