Emery 'happy' despite form downturn
Aston Villa boss Unai Emery says he is "happy" with the team's season so far, despite a downturn in form.
After an excellent start to the campaign, where they lost just one of their opening nine Premier League games alongside winning their opening three matches in the Champions League, it is now no victories in seven games in all competitions since 22 October.
It is the worst run of Emery's time in charge at the club and on Sunday they face a tough test away to a Chelsea side currently third in the Premier League.
"We are focusing on how we can improve," Emery said. "I am happy [with] how we are doing this season. Our demands increase progressively and we are being very demanding in every position we are facing, but we have to try to keep balance.
"Now, we are going to face Chelsea. Of course, difficult. Those three points will be very important, how we can set again our position in the table.
"The most important [thing] is to try to build our team, to feel comfortable and strong and try to correct some mistakes we are doing.""
