'Elbow from down under' makes craziest UFC finish ever
A seemingly impossible elbow has provided a battered fighter the most unlikely of UFC victories, with just one second left in the match he was most likely losing on points.
Mexican Yair Rodriguez became an instant martial arts hero after throwing the elbow ‘from down under’ as opponent Chan Sung Jung came charging at him in the final moment of the brutal encounter.
Rodriguez ducked to avoid the attack and out of nowhere threw up his elbow from down low, then somehow made perfect contact to the jaw of his opponent, the ‘Korean Zombie’.
UFC fighters and experts instantly lost their mind after witnessing the simply incredible moment at UFC Denver.

Rodriguez was clearly exhausted after the bout, but did say he wanted a shot at a title soon.
“I know the title shot is gonna be there eventually,” Rodriguez said.
“The only thing I care about is being happy every moment I have. Being able to do what I love in the biggest company in the world is something I appreciate.”
