As the El Clasico edges closer Yahoo Sport Australia will be giving away both a Real Madrid and Barcelona jersey to celebrate one of football's biggest rivalries.
Some of football's greatest ever superstars have graced the Bernabeu and Camp Nou wearing the famous jerseys during the rivalry known as 'El Clasico'.

The modern duel has seen arguably the two greatest ever footballers, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, going head-to-head and elevating the historic rivalry to new heights.
And to mark the importance of the up-coming El Clasico, with both Barcelona and Real Madrid in the La Liga title race, Yahoo Sport Australia is running a competition to give away two jerseys.
Yahoo Sport Australia followers can pick their dream five-aside team from the modern footballers provided.
Two winners will be selected and will be awarded either a Barcelona or Real Madrid jersey.
EL CLASICO PROMOTION: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The promoter is Verizon Media Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 60 089 187 100) of Level 4 West, 8 Central Avenue, Eveleigh, NSW, 2015 (“Promoter”).
Entry is only open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who like and follow the Yahoo Sport Australia Facebook page.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies and prize providers associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences on at 9:00am on Wednesday 7 April, 2021 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 11 April, 2021 (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period:
(a) be a member of, or join by liking and following, the Yahoo Sport Australia Facebook Page (the Facebook Page);
(b) create their best 5-a-side football team with a maximum value of $15 using the players and values set out in the competition call to action post on the Facebook Page. Each team must include one defender and one goalkeeper;
(c) post the entrant’s team in a comment on the call to action post on the Facebook page, along with the entrant’s proposed team name (which must not include any derogatory, defamatory, racist, offensive, or pornographic language), and specifying whether the entrant would like to win the Real Madrid jersey or the Barcelona jersey; and
(d) include the hashtags #LaLiga and #ElClasicoInAustralia in the entrant’s comment.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry permitted per person.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged by Yahoo Sports Australia’s football experts who will determine the best team based on the quality of the team selected and the team name, which will be judged on creativity and humour.
The pool of entries specifying they would like to win the Real Madrid jersey will be judged separately from the pool of entries specifying they would like to win the Barcelona jersey. The entrant from each pool with the best team and team name as determined by the Yahoo Sports Australia’s football experts will each win a prize (each a Winner)
The Winner selected from the Real Madrid pool of entries will win an Adidas Real Madrid jersey valued at $110 (inclusive of GST).
The Winner selected from the Barcelona pool of entries will win a Nike Barcelona jersey valued at $110 (inclusive of GST).
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Winner will be notified by Facebook message and will be disclosed in a tagged post in the Facebook Group.
If for any reason a Winner does not take a prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.
Total prize pool value is $220 (inclusive of GST).
The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photographing, filming and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with entering this promotion is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
