EastEnders actor to star in one-man West End show

Former EastEnders' Declan Bennett is bringing his solo theatre show to London's West End this autumn.

Inspired by Bennett's own experiences of growing up gay and Catholic in Coventry, Boy Out The City was previously staged at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The show will now move to the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, where it will play at the end of September as part of A Queer Season in the West End.

Bennett, also known for playing the role of Charlie Cotton on EastEnders between 2014 and 2017, made the announcement on his Instagram page, sharing the excitement with his followers.
