Eagles' Jason Peters underwent knee scope, will return to practice Wednesday

The Philadelphia Eagles have been without their standout left tackle for the last few weeks, but that looks like it’ll soon change.

Doug Pederson: Jason Peters returning to practice

On Wednesday, Eagles coach Doug Pederson told media that Jason Peters underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his knee during his three-week absence.

But he’ll return to practice on Wednesday, and may be back in the lineup on Sunday when the Eagles host the New England Patriots.

“He’ll practice today and we’ll see where he’s at at the end of the week,” Pederson said.

Peters will return to his starting spot when he’s ready to be back in uniform; rookie Andre Dillard has been playing in his place.

Quarterback Carson Wentz has been sacked 10 times in the three games Peters has been unavailable; he was sacked 10 times in the first six games of the season.
