Dutchman Mitchell van der Gaag has been linked to the vacant Sydney FC coaching position.
Telesport website reports the 46-year-old, who coaches Eredivisie club Excelsior, is currently considering a move to the A-League premiers.
The same report says van der Gaag has been offered a role at NAC Breda in the Dutch top flight.
Van der Gaag, a former centre-back and youth international, took Excelsior to an 11th place finish this season.
He has previously coached in Portugal and Cyprus.
The Sky Blues are without a coach after Graham Arnold left the club at season's end.
Arnold will take over as Socceroos coach after the World Cup.
