Durant captured launching foul-mouthed tirade at heckler

Dramatic footage has captured Golden State star Kevin Durant unleashing a foul-mouthed tirade on a fan during the Warriors’ loss to Dallas.

Durant has a tendency to react angrily to unsavoury incidents and this was evident in his side’s 112-109 defeat to the Mavericks.

From torching teammates with burner accounts to taking on fans directly on Instagram, Durant makes himself an easy target for hecklers.

Against Dallas, the Golden State star’s frustrations got the better of him after a heckling fan behind one of the baskets got under his skin.

Cleary fed up with what was being directed his way by the lippy Dallas supporter, Durant walked towards him and delivered an almighty spray.

“Watch the f****** game and shut the f*** up,” Durant leaned over and yelled at the fan on the baseline.

Durant’s response perhaps demonstrates why he’s such a desired target in the first place.

He’s one of the greatest players to ever play the game. He’s also one of the most outwardly sensitive.

If he wasn’t prone to this kind of response, he wouldn’t hear from the haters to begin with. Not as much, at least. Fans know he can be rattled.

The Warriors look vulnerable for the first time since they took over as the NBA’s dominant franchise.

They’re in the midst of a 1-4 stretch and dealing with internal turmoil centred around Durant’s conflict with teammate Draymond Green, making him an even easier target for opposing fans.

While it probably felt good to him to give the Dallas fan both barrels, the reality is that Durant just opened himself up to more noise from fans in the future.
