Dundee United can't wait to get back to competitive action - Shepherd

Dundee United boss Suzy Shepherd says her side can't wait to get back to competitive action.

They face Spartans on Sunday having been beaten 6-0 the last time the sides met in the league but Shepherd insists the players are positive going into the game.

"The mood has been really good," she told club media.

"We've had a couple of really positive weeks of training and there's a lot of competition for places.

"The games have been a bit stop-start for us so we're looking forward to getting back on the pitch on Sunday and getting back to a competitive game.

"The players have really bought into some of the ideas, have brought them into training. The focus is now the remaining games, we'll take it one game at a time but the focus is on getting the three points against Spartans who we know are a really good team."
