Driver's 'creepy' moment with trophy girl causes outrage
A professional racing driver has caused outrage after trying to kiss an unsuspecting trophy girl after a victory.
Noah Gragson had just won the Snowball Derby in Florida when the cringeworthy moment occurred.
Gragson, 20, jumped out of his car and received the customary congratulations from the trophy girl.
However she wasn’t expecting him to try and kiss her, recoiling in shock.
Gragson looked surprised that his advance had been rejected, before the girl agreed to a peck on the lips.
Well @NoahGragson is a man of his word. Told me he’d get the old school Victory lane kiss if he won. It took a lil’ convincing. #Persistence 👍🏼 pic.twitter.com/Kv3a8XWBWZ

Video of the brutal rejection has gone viral, with one social media user dubbing it the ‘swerve of the century’.
However a number of other users have slammed Gragson’s antics, with some labelling it ‘classless’ and ‘creepy’.
I hope somebody like @EarnhardtKelley talks to @NoahGragson about his advances on women. It's disrespectful and uncalled for. #NASCAR https://t.co/v5R6GR1Rc0

Disappointing to see what Noah Gragson attempted to do in victory lane at snowball derby. Win the race, fine. But classless move provided there was no consent with the girl in victory lane.

If anything sums up why motorsport shouldn't have trophy/victory lane/ grid girls, it's that noah gragson video.
She's not there as a prize. He's not entitled to a kiss from her.

Noah Gragson’s still doing the thing where he’s super creepy and then a bunch of older NASCAR personalities say it’s actually good because back in their day that didn’t care to understand or seek out consent either, I see.
