The talk show host and Garnier Nutrisse brand ambassador shares why procedures are not for her: "I look forward to seeing what I look like as a leather bag"
"I haven't done anything, and I'm going to maintain that as long as possible," she tells PEOPLE. "I have zero judgment for anyone doing anything. But I don't see myself resorting to it."
The Garnier Nutrisse brand ambassador adds with a laugh, "And, I look forward to seeing what I look like as a leather bag in the future!"
Barrymore says she's not interested in plastic surgery mostly out of fear she'd obsess over it.
"I have a highly addictive personality, so I worry I'd continue to chase it, get this and that done," she says. "That scares me, just because of my own approach to things. So, I'm waiting on making any alterations."
Barrymore, who admits to coloring her hair to the point where she "doesn't know her real color" anymore, keeps her focus on beauty products, instead.
Her now-famous #BeautyJunkieWeek on social media always features her genuine faves, from the serums she loves to the Garnier shampoo and conditioner that led her to ultimately work with the brand.
"It means you're alive, you're living, and that's a really good thing. Embracing aging is such positive, healthy messaging." Plus, she says that having good health really is the main goal, above all else.
"Health really comes into focus more than anything when there is peril," she says. "If you have your health, then you can focus on so many other things — including beauty. But it really is the most important thing of all."
