Yahoo Sport Drag Race UK star Danny Beard announces return with a twist
Danny Beard is returning to RuPaul's Drag Race UK, but not to compete.
Taking to Twitter/X today (September 12), Drag Race UK revealed that series 4 winner Danny is set to host a brand new recap show titled The After Shave with Danny Beard, which will air every Thursday after the main show.
"Guess who's hosting the afterparty... Drag Race UK series 4 winner and reigning queen @thedannybeard," they captioned the post along with an official shot of Danny.

Following the news, Danny took to their Instagram Stories to share some details about the upcoming new show and to thank fans for their outpouring of support.
"Thank you all so much for all the love on the new post regarding the new show. It's going to be on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three every week straight after Drag Race, it's called The After Shave with Danny Beard and it's the official recap show," Danny explained.
"We get an exclusive interview with each girl every week as somebody is eliminated until we get to the final. So thank you so much for the love so far, make sure you tune in and tweet along with it as it goes out. I'm dead excited to show you what we've been up to and I'm dead excited for you all to see this new season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK. So yeah, shave the date, Thursday, September 28 - see you then."

Earlier today it was confirmed that the fifth series of RuPaul's Drag Race UK will premiere on Thursday, September 28, meaning fans can catch Danny's recap show from the same date.
This year's cast of queens consists of Alexis Saint Pete, Banksie, Cara Melle, DeDeLicious, Ginger Johnson, Kate Butch, Michael Marouli, Miss Naomi Carter, Tomara Thomas and Vicki Vivacious.
RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
