Welshman Jamie Donaldson and England's Marcus Armitage shared the lead at 11 under when play was suspended due to darkness in the EPGA's Cyprus Open.

Three players were a stroke back and at eight-under 132 after completing their rounds - Richard McEvoy (66) and Sami Valimaki and David Drysdale (both 67).

Donaldson was on the final hole when play was halted.

Armitage completed 15 holes, with three other players to complete their rounds on Saturday morning.

The tournament is being played on the par-70 Aphrodite Hills Resort course.

Australia's Jason Scrivener is tied 24th, after posting an impressive 65 in the second round to be five off the pace.

Compatriot Maverick Antcliff was among those yet to finish and he is seven behind the leaders with the 18th still to play.
