We didn't cope with early NRL hype: Tigers

The Wests Tigers have admitted they failed to handle the burden of expectation after their stellar start to the NRL season.

Ivan Cleary's Tigers sit six points outside the top eight after a disastrous middle part of the season which has seen them record two wins from their past 10 games.

This was after being fourth following seven rounds and centre Esan Marsters and forward Michael Chee Kam said they didn't deal with the hype that surrounded the side early in the season.
