De'Von Achane apologized to his fantasy football managers in a plea to disappointed Dolphins fans
The Miami Dolphins lost to the previously winless Tennessee Titans on Monday night, dropping their third straight game to fall to 1-3 on the season.
At the heart of Miami's struggles is the injury to Tua Tagovailoa, who the Dolphins haven't been able to generate offense without. They're averaging just eight points during the losing streak, and the slump has impacted all of Miami's other offensive stars fantasy managers were relying on this season.
That includes second-year running back De'Von Achane, who felt so bad after Monday's loss, he apologized to fantasy managers.
Sorry to all y’all fantasy owners. Dolphins fans stick wit us ✌🏼🐬

"Sorry to all y'all fantasy owners. Dolphins fans stick with us," Achane posted to X.
Achane was one of the season's big breakout candidates after a strong showing as a rookie. But in two games without Tagovailoa, he's averaging just 43 combined rushing and receiving yards with no touchdowns. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have also struggled without Tagovailoa.
Why anyone should expect things to get better -- whether it's Skylar Thompson or Tyler Huntley at quarterback -- is beyond me. But Achane is asking fans to stick with the Dolphins.
